TF- Belt Drive Side Entry Mixers - Variable and Fixed Angle Agitators

LOTUS Mixers offers a complete line of belt drive side entry mixers. They compete directly with what is offered by our competition. However, it is important to point out that there is a significant difference between our product and our competition’s. As you can see from the picture on this page, we include a shroud for the shaft that contains a bearing to limit the forces on the mechanical seal and belts. This reduces seal and packing wear and extends the life of the drive belts. We build specific mixers for side entry applications and did not just modify a top entry agitator.

One more note, most users of belt drive side entry agitators are concerned about the initial cost. The initial savings is typically less than 10% vs. a gear driven mixer but can be quickly negated with higher maintenance costs. For this reason, we encourage customers to use gear drive side entry agitators.
