Lotus Mixers Today, we are the fastest growing mixer manufacturer in North America. However, we can trace our history back to the mid-1970’s. For many years, LOTUS Mixers remained a supplier of highly specialized agitators to niche markets primarily Nuclear, Pharmaceutical and Pulp & Paper. In early 2004, the management team of LOTUS Mixers saw changes in the market and demands from our customers to grow. With the old traditional mixer manufacturers downsizing their engineering staff and relocating their production, newer technology processes would require an alternative. To supply what the new market required, LOTUS Mixers teamed up with Great Wall Mixers and now has a global work force of more than 500 employees, of which 92 individuals have engineering or other technical degrees (i.e. metallurgist, chemist, etc.). This also includes 12 individuals with doctorate level degrees. In 2007, LOTUS Mixers will start manufacturing in our new state of the art international manufacturing plant (IMF). With the new facility we will be able to continue to ensure that the customers are supplied the best cost to value equipment, latest in technology, on time delivery and quality service. The IMF is being built to accommodate our ambitious growth plan over the next decade. When completed, the IMF will be able to fabricate between 7,000 and 12,000 mixers per year based on equipment size and complexity. |
